Pura Vida
Pura Vida is a contemporary residence in Troncones that embraces the richness of local materials and craftsmanship. The project is defined by two contrasting façades: a solid and contained expression toward the street, and a more open, fluid relationship toward the ocean.
The street façade is composed of two exposed concrete volumes cast with wooden formwork, creating a warm and textured surface, completed with semicircular geometries that house the bathroom cores.
The house is organized around a central courtyard that connects the main living spaces and structures daily life. The family room fully opens toward the terrace, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.
A material palette of exposed concrete, parota wood, and marble reinforces a contemporary architectural language rooted in its context, while the landscape design enhances privacy and the connection with the surrounding environment.
